BOS hosts international conference in city

The 3rd edition of two-day international orthodontic conference, hosted by Bangladesh Orthodontic Society, began at a city hotel on Friday.
The theme of the event is —Orthodontics-beyond the Boundaries.
Around 200 participants from home and abroad are attending the programme.
Orthodontics experts from Singapore, India, Taiwan and Thailand would share their knowledge and ideas about orthodontic treatment and technologies, organisers said.
Addressing the conference, president of Asia Pacific Orthodontic Society Bryce Lee said, ‘There are many young, enthusiastic and intelligent orthodontists in Bangladesh. I see potential in BOS.’
Nikhilesh R Vaid from India, Somchai Satravaha from Thailand, Eric Liou from Taiwan, Dennis Lim from Philippines, and Narayan Gandedkar from Singapore, are attending the event, among others.
BOS president Zakir Hossain said that the conference would help developing professional skills of local orthodontists.
