Noted film actor Monowar Hossain Dipjol is returning from Singapore today after receiving treatment, informed Dipjol’s daughter Oliza Monowar in a facebook status on Wednesday.
Dipjol underwent a heart surgery at the Mount Elizabeth hospital in Singapore on September 25.
Earlier on September 19 Dipjol became ill at home. He was immediately taken to Dhaka’s Labaid hospital. He was later flown to Singapore by an air ambulance for better treatment.
Dipjol’s wife Joba and daughter Oliza Monowar accompanied him to Singapore, and Oliza kept the people updated about Dipjol’s condition.
Dipjol, known for playing negative characters in Bangla films, also played positive roles in many films. He produced several films as well. Some of his notable films are Kata Rifle, Kata lash, Teji, Mon and Nayok.
