After a two-year hiatus from the silver screen, Dhallywood actress Apu Biswas is going to make a comeback through Badiul Alam Khokon’s upcoming film Kangal.
Apu will perform with Bappy Chowdhury and DA Tayeb in the triangular love film.
Apu said shooting of the film will begin soon. ‘It is really exciting for me to join the team of Kangal to be directed by Badiul Alam Khokon with whom I have worked earlier’, she said.
Apu hopes that Kangal will mark a new beginning in her career following her eclipse for family reasons for two years. ‘I am preparing myself for the comeback. I’m going to gym regularly and hope to give my best in the film,’ she said.
Apu debuted in Dhallywood through Amjad Hossain’s film Kaal Sokale and has acted in over 80 films till date. A film, starring Apu and filmed two years ago, however was released this year.
