Maple Leaf Int’l School holds 2-day science fair

A two-day science fair was held in the capital on Friday in an effort to generate increased interest in science and technology among students.
Maple Leaf International School organised the fair at Dr Nawab Ali Auditorium in Dhanmondi, said a news release issued on Sunday.
The fair showcased a total of 441 scientific projects prepared by 963 students from Classes I to X, the release said.
The school’s founding principal Zeba Ali was present at the fair’s inaugural session as chief guest while former chief scientific officer and director of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission Zahidur Rahman Majumder attended as special guest.
