Popular film actor Ananta Jalil has urged the youngsters of the country to stay away from the much talked about game, Blue Whale.
Jalil, who is currently restraining himself from acting in films and has become an Islamic preacher, in a status posted on his official Facebook page expressed his deep concern over Blue Whale, which is a social network phenomenon that is claimed to exist in several countries, beginning in 2016.
The game reportedly consists of a series of tasks assigned to players by administrators over a 50-day period, with the final challenge requiring the player to commit suicide.
‘Committing suicide is an unforgivable sin in Islam and every youngster should stay away from suicide enticing games like Blue Whale,’ wrote Jalil.
Ananta Jalil also appealed to the parents to monitor the online activities of their children to keep them safe.
