A group show featuring photographs by 100 photographers is going on at Drik Gallery in capital’s Dhanmondi.
A photographers’ organisation, D’PhotoCafé, has organsed the three-day exhibition titled ‘WNI World Photography Exhibition 2017’.
Photographers from 12 countries including Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Italy, New Zealand and Poland, among others, are showcasing 100 photographs at the event.
The photographs are quite breathtaking and show the scenic beauty of Bengal, its wildlife, nature, animals, people involved in different activities, landmarks, monuments and so on.
The displayed photograph by local photographer Rafia Ahmed shows a flock of birds flying in a forest, while the photograph by Tapan Saha shows a boat carrying bricks on the river.
‘I think such an exhibition offers up and coming photographers with a good platform to showcase their works,’ said Rafia Ahmed.
Noted singer Meherin inaugurated the exhibition on Thursday. The show will remain open for all from 3pm to 8pm today.
