4 killed in incidents in Ctg

Four people were killed in incidents in the city and district on Friday.
The victims were identified as Atal Talukdar, 35, a security guard of Chakbazar, painter Shahidul Islam, 30, hailed from Nangolcout upazila of Comilla, Mohammad Elahi, 40, hailed from Zoorumtal area of Sonaichhari under Sitakunda upazila and Monowara Begum, 35, wife of Abdus Salam, hailed from Fatikchhari upazila in Chittagong.
Shaidul Islam was electrocuted while he was painting a house in Biswacolony area under Akbarshah Police Station at around 12:30pm on Friday.
He was taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctors pronounced him desad, CMCH police outpost sources said.
Elihi crushed under the wheels of a Chittagong bound truck in Zoorumtal area of Sonaichhari under Sitakunda upazila at 9:00am on Friday.
He was taken to CMCH where the attending doctors pronounced him dead.
Victim Atal, sustained head injury hitting behind by a truck in front of the Chittagong Government College at around 7:00am on Friday.
Locals brought him to the CMCH but he died from his injuries after admission.
Monowara commits suicide by taking poison over family feud in the morning on Friday.
Family members brought her to Fatichhari health complex but the attending doctors pronounced her dead.
