The scheduled maintenance of first submarine cable (SEA-ME-WE 4) has been deferred to October instead of September, a senior official of Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company Limited told New Age on Wednesday.
Under the rescheduled time, the maintenance work of the first submarine cable is expected to start on October 5 this year and will continue for three to four days.
The maintenance was scheduled to start from today and continue for three days, the BSCCL official said.
Users will experience slow internet speed during the maintenance of the cable as Bangladesh gets 300 Gigabyte per-second internet bandwidth from SEA-ME-WE 4 cable.
