Left leaders for lodging complaint with ICC over Rohingya genocide

Left political leaders urged the government to lodge complaints with the International Criminal Court against Myanmar army-sponsored persecution and genocide on the country’s Rohingya people.

Addressing a news conference in Dhaka, leaders of Communist Party of Bangladesh, Socialist Party of Bangladesh and Democratic Left Alliance complained that the Bangladesh government failed to provide humanitarian services to the Rohingya refugees.

They also demanded proper inventory of the refugees to check their spreading out across Bangladesh.

CPB presidium member Ruhin Hossain Prince presented keynotes based on a recent investigation in Cox’s Bazar.

Left political leaders Subhrangshu Chakrabartty, Shah Alam, Mushrefa Mishu,  Zonayed Saki, Abdus Sattar, among others, were present.
