Customs intelligence officials arrested a Bangladeshi national along with 80,000 pieces of banned Indian injections at Benapole customs check-post on Tuesday night.
The arrested was identified as Hossain Mintu, 45, son of Amir Hossain, hailing from Shariatpur.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of customs intelligence conducted a drive at the Custom check-post and arrested Hossain Mintu and recovered the animal injections after searching his bag, said Abdus Sadek, deputy commissioner of Benapole Custom intelligence. A case was filed.
