Two-day workshop on Turkish filmmaker begins Sep 15

A two-day workshop on Turkish filmmaker Nuri Bilge Ceylan will be held at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on September 15 and September 16.
Film organisation Moyiyana Film Society will organise the workshop titled ‘Understanding Films of Nuri Bilge Ceylan’, which will be open for all.
Noted filmmaker Ratan Pal, Wahid Tareque and film writer Belayat Hossain Mamun will conduct the workshop, which will be coordinated by Adri Hridesh. The workshop will include analysis of Ceylan’s films from both aesthetic and technical perspectives.
To participate at the workshop interested individuals will have to register at room number 701 of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy before September 14.
Nuri Bilge Ceylan is a Turkish film director, photographer, screenwriter and actor. He won the Palme d’Or, the highest prize at the Cannes Film Festival, in 2014. He has seven feature films and one short film to his credit.
