The Bahubali franchise has been more than a film for audiences. It became a rage. While the first part - Bahubali: The beginning raised the mysterious question ‘Why Katappa killed Bahubali?’, the second installment, Bahubali 2: The Conclusion solved the riddle and became the king of box office collection. Now, we learn that after breaking records and inscribing its name in the pages of history, Bahubali 2 completed 100 days in theatre on Thursday, reports Mumbai Mirror.
The film that completed 100 days in big cities continues to rule the filmdom with its impeccable story line, tight narrative and larger-than-life treatment.
Bahubali 2 witnessed a slight dip in its collection, when Salman Khan’s Tubelight hit the theatre. However, it was not completely washed away, instead Prabhas’ magnum opus in the reason behind the downfall of films that was released recently.
Trade report further states that the distributor share of the film in Hindi is Rs 251 crore and across India in all languages it is Rs 625 crore, which is more than many high budget Bollywood films.
Boxofficeindia reports that the grand total collection of Bahubali 2 in twelve weeks is 510 crore in the Hindi version.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film stars Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.
