An artiste recites a poem at the porgramme

Artistes of recitation troupe Harbola celebrated monsoon season by reciting poems penned by eminent poets glorifying the monsoon at a programme on Tuesday at National Art Gallery Auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
Titled ‘Barshajaponer Kabita’, the show featured solo and chorus recitations by artistes of the organisation. Among others, Majumder Biplob, Jobaida Laboni, Saba Ferdausi, Aufi Khan, Razia Kabir, Atiya Farzana and Bristi Kabir performed on the occasion.
The programme commenced with a chorus recitation of poet Vidyapati’s Padabali. Next artistes recited poems like Rabindranath Tagore’s Sonar Tori and Banshi, Shakti Chattopaddhyay’s Jakhan Bristi Namlo, Sunil Gangopaddhay’s Rupali Manob, Abul Hasan’s Bristichinhita Bhalobasa, Nirmalendu Goon’s Nei Keno Sei Pakhi and others at the programme.
