Classical music evening at National Museum

Shaila Tasmeen performs at Bangladesh National Museum.

Up and coming classical singer Shaila Tasmeen entertained the audience at a solo musical soiree at Kobi Sufia Kamal Auditorium of Bangladesh National Museum on Saturday.
Shaila presented a number of classical ragas, popular Bangla songs and others at the show.
She commenced the show by rendering raga Kaushik Dhoni, a raga which denotes the second phase of the night, in her melodious voice.
As her second performance she presented raga Multani, which is generally sung in the third phase of the day.
The artiste also performed popular Bangla songs like Aji E Ghono Shrabone, Bini Sutai Gantha Mala, Keno Antohin Birehero Sur and Chupi Chupi Chole Na and an Urdu romantic ghazal Yaad Piya Aayee at the programme.
Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre organised the
event.
