In an interview with New Age, Selim talked about his Eid ventures, recent and upcoming projects and others.
‘The two teleplays I have directed this Eid titled ‘Robin Hood Aseni Tai’ and ‘Eri Naam Prem’ are not like typical Eid comedies. I have also acted in both of them and believe that the audience will find them entertaining ’, said Selim.
Robin Hood Aseni Tai, featuring Nadia, Hillol and, revolves around a runaway bride, while Eri Naam Prem follows the story of an old boxer played by veteran actor Masud Ali Khan. The play also stars Nawshin and Orsha. Both of the teleplays will feature Selim in the lead roles.

Talking about his upcoming projects, Selim said he will play a lead role in the feature film Swarnachar, which will be directed by Zahid Hossain.

Selim, who is also a popular theatre actor and director, is set to direct a theatre production named Juimalar Saimala written by Anan Zaman. ‘Juimalar Saimala features a mythical tale of the ancient world and of prostitution’, said Selim, adding that it would be produced by Dhaka Theatre.
