This Eid, fans of Kumar Bishwajit have something to celebrate as a solo album of the singer featuring three new songs has been released ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The album Tilottoma, released online from the banner of Bangla Dhol, includes three songs namely Tumi Thako Tarar Deeshe, Kato Phagun Ene Dile and Amar Murshid Paroshmoni Go.
Speaking about his Eid album Kumar Bishwajit said, ‘Music lovers like to listen to songs of their favorite singers during their Eid holidays. Therefore, I have released the album ahead of Eid for my fans.’
The song Tumi Thako Tarar Deeshe has been written by Shahidullah Farayazi and composed by Bishwajit, while Kato Phagun Ene Dile has been written by Ahmed Rizvi and composed by Kishore and the third song of the album Amar Murshid Paroshmoni Go is a folk song of noted bard Kala Shah.
‘I hope that the music lovers will find the songs very entertaining,’ said Bishwajit, adding that he is looking forward to make music videos of the songs ahead of Eid-ul-Azha festival.
When asked why the songs were released at online platforms Kumar Bishwajit said he has no intention to release his new songs in physical CDs in future as the audio industry is not doing well.
‘The audio industry is currently struggling with piracy and other issues. Therefore I will be releasing my future songs and albums at online platforms,’ said Bishwajit.
Speaking about his Eid ventures Bishwajit said he will be performing at a number of Eid special programmes on different channels. Bangladesh Television (BTV) and ATN Bangla will telecast programmes featuring Kumar Bishwajit. The singer will also be seen at the Eid special episode of popular show Ityadi, which will be aired on BTV.
