Good news for Fahmida Nabi’s fans. The singer has announced of releasing her next album Iccheguli on upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
The album will be released online on GP Music under the banner of Jisan Music.
‘People these days rarely go to stores to buy music albums. They browse internet when it comes to listening to music and prefers to buy albums or download songs from online stores. That is why I have decided to release my Eid album online,’ Fahmida Nabi, who has released fourteen solo albums from different music labels, told New Age.
Iccheguli will contain four songs-- Icchegulo Khola Mone, Saat Ronge Rong Mekhe, Bhorer Howai Ushno Aloy and K Jeno K Daake. All the songs of the album have been written and composed by Ziauddin Alam, while Sajib Das has done the music direction.
‘I hope that my fans will find the songs very entertaining,’ said Fahmida, adding that she is going to release a group album titled ‘Karigori-1’ on July 12.
‘The upcoming group album Karigori-1 will contain twelve songs which I have recorded with eleven students of my school Karigori. The album will be released from my own production house Anmol Presents,’ said the singer.
Fahmida Nabi began her journey in the music industry in 1979. The singer’s debut album Tumi Tulonahina was released in 1989. During her career which spans for more than three decades she has done play-back singing for 20 movies and released fourteen solo albums including Akash O Shamudra Aupar (2011), which features 10 songs written and tuned by late Selim Al Deen.
