Following the huge success of the feature film Aynabaji, a TV series based on the original film has been made ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr. The series will be aired on three private television channels this Eid.
Titled ‘Anyabaji Original Series’, the series will comprise seven episodes directed by Krishnendu Chattopadhyay, Ashfaq Nipun, Sumon Anowar, Goutam Koiri, Tanim Rahman Angshu, Rabiul Alam Robi and feature film Aynabaji’s director Amitabh Reza, who is also the consulting director of Anyabaji Original Series.
Aynabaji, the 2016 thriller film by Amitabh Reza, revolves around an actor named Ayna who impersonates powerful convicts and takes their place in the prison in exchange of money. The film became a box office hit.
The Aynabaji Original Series is the first ever TV series made in Bangladesh which is based on a feature film. However, film-based television series is a common thing in the West.
The seven one hour-long episodes of Anyabaji Original Series will be aired on GTV, RTV and Deepto TV on seven consecutive days during Eid- ul-Fitr.
