Muhammad Imrul Quayes has recently been appointed as secretary of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh, said a news release.
Before retirement from the Bangladesh Army in 2014, Quayes served for more than two years as director general and CEO of Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies.
He also served as director of counter terrorism and intelligence bureau of Directorate General of Forces Intelligence.
Quayes was commissioned in 1979 as 2’Lieutenant in the Armoured Corps of Bangladesh Army.
For more than 3 years he worked as president of the prestigious institute Inter Services Selection Board. He was an instructor of School of Military Intelligence and Armour Corps Centre and School.
