Two unidentified people were killed and another injured as an old boundary wall of an under construction high-rise building collapsed on them near Jamuna Future Park on Pragati Sarani under Gulshan Police station in the capital Sunday afternoon.
The dead people were aged between 30 and 35 years, said sub-inspector Jahangir Hossain, a duty officer of Gulshan police station.
He said that the injured man is a fruit vendor and was immediately rushed to NITOR for treatment.
The police officer said that the boundary wall of the high-rise building , Siraj Garden, located at 57, Nadda collapsed and fell on the trio, leaving two dead on the spot and another injured, at about 1:30pm.
