North South University recently celebrated their accomplishment of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between Bangladesh Computer Council and University of Miyazaki in Japan for ‘Post-Bangladesh Japan ICT Engineers Training Implementation Agreement’ at the ICT Tower in Dhaka on February 24, said a press release issued on Sunday.
The Career and Placement Centre of NSU had taken an initiative in the project on behalf of the university under the leadership of CPC director Mohammad Khasro Miah.
The university celebrated the achievement with the presence of the chairman of board of trustees MA Kashem, vice-chancellor Atiqul Islam, pro-vice-chancellor M Ismail Hossain, deans and chairs from all schools and directors of all administrative departments.
At least 80 students will get a chance to enrol in the programme every year.
The first six months of the training module will be held at NSU, and the second three months module will be held in Japan.
