BUP international conference on ICT concludes today

Bangladesh University of Professionals organises a two-day international conference on ‘ICT for sustainable development’ scheduled to end today. — Press release

A two-day long international conference titled Information and Communication Technology for Sustainable Development organised by the Department of Information and Communication Engineering at Bangladesh University of Professionals will conclude today.

The inaugural ceremony of the conference was held virtually on Saturday, said a press release.

Minister for education Dipu Moni MP attended the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest and state minister for information and communication technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak as a special guest.

Vice-chancellor Major General Md Moshfequr Rahman attended the programme as the chief patron and pro-vice-chancellor Professor M Abul Kashem Mozumder as a patron.

Professor Mike Hinchey of software engineering at University of Limerick in Ireland and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology vice-chancellor Professor SP Majumder were the keynote speaker on the opening day of the conference.
