Rabirasmi artistes entertain audience with Tagore songs

Artistes of Tagore music organisation Rabirashmi entertained audience with Rabindranath Tagore’s spring songs at a programme on Tuesday at Sufia Kamal Auditorium of Bangladesh National Museum.

The programme titled Bailo Praney Dakhin Hawa, featured solo and chorus performances by artistes of Rabirashmi.

Chorus rendition of Tagore’s popular song celebrating the spring Dakhin Hawa Jago Jago commenced the programme.

Following were presentation of songs like Path Diye Ke Jay by Parmina William, Mor Bina Uthe by Sharmin AKhter, Etadin Je Basechhilam by Rajib Ferdous, Ektuku Chhoya Lage by Farmin Islam Ema, Aji E Basante by Dilip Kumar Das and others.

The solo performances were intercepted by chorus rendition of songs like O Manjari, Ora Akarane Chanchal, Tomar Baas Kotha and Basante Phul Gathlo Amar.

Rabirashmi director and noted Tagore singer Mohadev Ghosh ended the show through rendition of Nayan Mele Dekhi and Tui Re Basanta.

The programme was organised as part of Rabirashmi’s regular monthly event.
