Aparna Khan entertains audience with songs

Vocalist Aparna Khan pleased audience with her presentation of songs at a programme at the Sufia Kamal Auditorium of National Museum on Monday.

Cultural organisation Utsa Sangskritik Parishad organised the programme to launch a collection of poem titled Bhalobasa Bhalobashi of Aparna Khan, who is also a poet.

The singer-poet rendered songs of different genres on that evening.

She began with rendition of a patriotic song as it was the month of the Independence Day. The song Rakter Wrin Shodh Holo Na entertained the listeners on that show.

She also presented very popular Tagore numbers Sei Bhalo Sei Bhalo and Tumi Keman Kare Gaan Karo He Guni in her melodious voice.

The artiste also presented Atulprasad Sen’s evergreen song Eka Mor Gaaner Tori and a very popular yesteryear’s song Shono Shono Kathati Shono at the programme.

The book launching ceremony was attended by president of Sammilita Sangskritik Jote Golam Kuddus, poet Maruful Islam, journalist Manjurul Ahsan Bulbul, Tagore singer Fahim Hossain Chowdhury, among others.
