Private carrier US-Bangla Airlines is set to fly Bangkok on May 3 as its sixth international destinations.
The flight will leave for Bangkok at 8am local time from Chittagong while at 9:40am from Dhaka, said a press release on Sunday.
Initially, four flights will be operated on Dhaka-Chittagong-Bangkok route on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
The flight will reach Bangkok at local 01:10pm while return flight is scheduled to start at local 2:10pm and will reach Chittagong at 3:40pm and Dhaka at 05:10pm.
The minimum one-way fare is Tk 15,599 and Tk 23,999 has been fixed with return fare on Dhaka-Bangkok route. Besides, on Chittagong-Bangkok route, the minimum fare for one-way is Tk 16,999 while return fare is Tk 26,599. The fares include all taxes and surcharges.
With 164-seater Boeing 737-800 aircraft, the flights in Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka and Chittagong-Bangkok-Chittagong will be operated. There are 8 business-class and 156 economy seats in the newly added Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Within a very short time, US-Bangla will operate in Guangzhou, Doha and many more and to this end another 737-800 aircraft and DASH8-Q400 will be added in the fleet within August this year, also said the release.
Currently US-Bangla Airlines owns six aircraft in its fleet, of which three are Boeing 737-800 and three are Dash8- Q400.
